Alice is an innovative 3D programming environment that makes it easy to create an animation for telling a story, playing an interactive game, or a video to share on the web. Alice is a freely available teaching tool designed to be a student's first exposure to object-oriented programming. It allows students to learn fundamental programming concepts in the context of creating animated movies and simple video games. In Alice, 3-D objects (e.g., people, animals, and vehicles) populate a virtual world and students create a program to animate the objects.

In Alice's interactive interface, students drag and drop graphic tiles to create a program, where the instructions correspond to standard statements in a production oriented programming language, such as Java, C++, and C#. Alice allows students to immediately see how their animation programs run, enabling them to easily understand the relationship between the programming statements and the behavior of objects in their animation. By manipulating the objects in their virtual world, students gain experience with all the programming constructs typically taught in an introductory programming course.


Alice 是一種創新的3D程式編寫軟體，讓你可以輕鬆的利用卡通的方式來說故事，玩樂，互動遊戲或是做成影片上傳到網路分享。Alice是一套專為第一次開始學習程式設計學生的免費軟體。他可以讓學生在設計動物電影和簡單的電動中學習到程式設計的機本概念，在ailce中學生需要利用程式計巧讓內建在程式內的3D物件活了起來。
在alice裡頭的互動介面中學生只需【拖】跟【放】圖像式的程式碼來編輯，
這些指令是符合物件導向的程式語言像是JAVA、C++、C#，Alice讓學生可以馬上的看到他們程式是如何生動的表現，並讓他們可以簡單的了解到程式語法間的關系在物件中如何運作，學生可以透過處理alice虛擬世界中的物件學習到一般物件導向課程中所說明的基本架構。
